Throughout the course of the semester, you will complete assignments for other classes in the learning that will also count for credit in Seminar. All of these Learning Community J assignments will collectively account for 20% of your final grade in Seminar.

I'm great with faces but terrible with names. This activity lets me get to know you better along with putting a name to face. It's a simple assignment since it's just answering questions about yourself. :)
50pts for answering the questions / 50pts for a clear headshot of yourself
Bonus points for adding photos of your life on the back.

Midterm Reflection
The Midterm Reflection (15% of your overall seminar grade)
It is asking you to reflect on your group presentation along with reflecting on how your semester is going so far.

The assignment must completed as WORD DOCUMENT and uploaded to Blackboard. It cannot be emailed.

Individual Persuasive Speech
This is an individual assignment. It is worth 10% of your Seminar grade.

You are free to choose the topic, I just need to pre-approve it. The presentation days are at the end of April.

Final Portfolio
This portfolio has you considering what it is you want to do after college. The parts needed for this is a Cover Letter, Resume, Explanation of Dream Job/Career, and Reflection.
