Ah, Texas :)
Texas is actually quite special. It is unlike many other states.
What happens when you tell people you are from Texas? What some reactions they have or things that they say?
Dr. Huerta will not be discussing chapter 1 but he does still expect you to read the chapter and it will appear on the exam.
Pay close attention to the different regions of Texas / the diversity differences / economic issues each one has / challenges that each one faces. Use his online Powerpoint slides as a guide of what to take notes on from the book.
Lets actually take a look at some of those different regions!
For Tuesday, I'll have a bit of a review "quiz" over chapter 1 and 2. So bring your notes!
