Announcements

• Exam Retake / Make-up is on Friday at 3pm in CI 126 and Monday at 4pm in CI 126

• You can retake / make-up any exam and can do several at once.

• Thursday, May 3rd (Reading Day - meaning no class or final exams)

• Want some free food and t-shirts?

• 12:30-5pm will be a preview of sessions for this summer's Islander Launch and we would like to have students come watch and give feedback to the presenters.

Important COMM Announcements

• Optional Final Exam

• Will replace lowest exam grade

• 100 questions and is cumulative (all chapters learned this semester)

• Check her blackboard for updates on more information and dates/times

• Extra Credit (bonus mini presentation) - *Look at COMM Bonus folder*

• This mini speech is worth up to 20 points on the individual presentation (10 for the 1-2 minute speech and 10 for the reflection paper). Must complete both prats in order to receive points

• Will take place on Tuesday, May 1st

• It's important that all groups are ready to present on Tuesday so we can get as many group presentation in as possible. If not, then we may run out of time for the bonus point presentations.

• Make sure to bring your presentation on a thumb drive so that we don't waste time signing in and out of the computer.

• Make sure several group members have copies of the presentation.

• FYI: If you are disappointed in your IA grade, I strongly encourage you to go talk to Dr. Myers in person. It will be to your advantage. But make sure to go and be respectful and polite.

• Check COMM's blackboard gradebook

• You can see what your grade is so far in Blackboard. The total is out of 800 points so far. You can divide your total points by 800 to see what your letter grade is as of now.

• You have a 295 points left to earn.
